The APEX Film Awards is an independent film festival with live screenings to showcase international filmmakers and their films. APEX was made by filmmakers for filmmakers and our experience within the film industry and on the festival circuit gave us the idea to create our own film award that's aimed at showcasing independent filmmakers and giving them unique tools to promote their films. We now also offer tailored film reviews for filmmakers who haven’t submitted their film through our festival. This way you can get constructive and experienced reviews for your films anytime…
About Us.
Live Screening Event
We’re proud to host our live screening event at the UK’s oldest operating cinema, The Dome. Based in Worthing West Sussex, The Dome first opened on April 15, 1911 and is known for its history of film and has kept its incredible Victorian design intact.

Our Vision.
Our vision for APEX is not just to provide a positive experience but also to create a platform that understands filmmakers and ways to help promote their films. What's different about our festival is that all of our nominated films will receive a star rating and a tailored film review written just for you. Having a detailed film review and star rating is an incredibly useful and effective marketing tool for films to use across social media and within their promotional content. All of our nominated films will then be put forward to screen in our live festival at the UK’s oldest operating Cinema ‘The Dome’ at the end of the year…

Want a film review without having to submit through our film festival? We’ve got you covered. Here you can bypass the selection process and have your film reviewed by our team of award winning filmmakers. A film is made possible by a team of filmmakers, not just the director. With that in mind, our reviews will better reflect the the films we’re reviewing and the crew involved. This way, you receive a well balanced review that will give everyone involved their moment of acknowledgement…
