Over the years, we’ve had plenty of experience with various review site. Some great, some not so great. Which is why we offer tailored reviews for APEX Film Awards. We know how powerful these reviews can be, not just for the films promotion but the crew as well. Which is why we’re happy to offer our film reviews as a separate service without the need to submit to our festival. This way you can cut through the need to wait for a decision on if your film won an award or not.
We accept short films with a maximum run time of 40 minutes from any genre, with an average of two weeks delivery time. Reviews will be posted on our website for you to read and share.

Who are we?
We are a team of experienced and knowledgeable filmmakers with a passion for films and the process of filmmaking. Through the years, we have had many of our own films reviewed by various international film sites, many of which we’ve been incredibly happy with. But one thing we have noticed of late with third party film reviews, is the lack of attention to detail for every part of a production. Score, VFX, sound design, editing… These are just some of the areas rarely mentioned within reviews, and we can’t figure out why. A film is made possible by a team of filmmakers, not just the director. With that in mind, our reviews will better reflect the the films we’re reviewing and the crew involved. This way, you receive a well balanced review that will give everyone involved their moment of acknowledgement…

Why get a film review?
Once you’ve made your film it’s time to start promoting it, and what better way to promote it than a well constructed film review which not only looks at the core elements of the film but also the broader production elements. Use your review to share online and feature within your films promotional material. If used properly, it can elevate the film in many ways to encourage more eyes on it. One of our main focusses with reviews is the production process which we feel gets overlooked by other review sites, this gives you a chance to celebrate the crew that helped make your film possible. Please be aware that while we hope each and every film we receive is of a high standard which we provide a stellar review for, this is not always the case and does not guarantee one for your film. With any film review, they are designed to provide critical feedback for the filmmaker to use or not use. All reviews that are featured through APEX will not be removed simply because you are unhappy with the outcome. Our goal is to support indy filmmakers and give them honest feedback to help promote their films and themselves.
