“Seidel’s dramatic performance is a breath of fresh air.”

Bill, a middle-aged man, returns home, after many years, seeking to recover the life he lost after cheating on his estranged wife, Susie.

This dramatic short film written and directed by Mike Stinnett tackles a challenging subject which is done with care and attention. There is a sense of great understanding with the subject matter which carries over into the film.

The role of ‘Susie’ played by Deborah Seidel is expertly performed and is a great choice for the film. Seidel creates an aura of authenticity and familiarity with her on-screen husband ‘Bill’ played brilliantly by Wynn Reichert. There is a real closeness between them both and great chemistry which only builds over the film. Seidel’s dramatic performance is a breath of fresh air and handles the more challenging scenes incredibly well.

The production quality of the film is very good and isn’t over stated, it’s captured in a way that only reinforces the great performances. The lighting and shot style fits the genre perfectly.

This film works on many levels and is a powerful story which will resonate with many viewers. Mike Stinnett has delivered a superb film which achieves what he set out to do.
