Time Traveller’s Garden is an exceptionally well crafted and captured film that is both daring and evocative. Every frame within the film is significant and director WeiPAN / YiFEI tells his story through powerful imagery and stunning cinematography. 

WeiPAN / YiFEI proves they’ve done their research as each scene is full of cultural and religious significance that will capture audiences of all kinds. The use of cinematography throughout is stunning but is used sparingly, nothing feels forced or unnecessary. The simple but striking 2D animation jumps out and creates even more depth to the film. 

The Chinese locations are remarkable and will make filmmakers think differently about shooting there. It’s the perfect backdrop to this powerful piece of filmmaking. 

The range of cast used within the film is impressive and makes the film feel more immersive in its depictions. The costume design adds eerie and haunting imagery to the film making each scene memorable and eye catching.
